Show Duchesne County's Share Of Liquor Funds Same As 1953 Duchesne County received the-same the-same amount this year for its share in the 1953 liquor profits as it did in 1952. A check for $7,413.68 has been received the , Past week by the county from ; the State of Utah and credited . ' to the county general fund. A check for this identical amount was sent to the county last year. This money is paid from the state fund known as the "City, Incorporated Town and County Liquor Control Fund," which is administered by the state auditor as provided by law. On July 1st and January 1st of each year, commencing Jan. 1, 1948, the state auditor certifies cer-tifies to the finance com vss;on of the State of Utah, the monies availible to each coin-', city, and incorporated town of Utah.' which commission pays the ( amount certified by "the state ; auditor to each of the cities and i incorporated towns and county from the control fund. The monies distributed to the counties, cities, and incorporated incorporat-ed towns, are to be used for lawful purposes. The law provides pro-vides that nothing in the liquor control act shall prevent counties, coun-ties, cities, and incorporated towns from cooperating and coordinating co-ordinating their activities with the money so derived. |
