Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stolla have gone to California for a vacation. vaca-tion. Their daughter Clara is staying in Salt Lake with her sister, Mrs. Glen Molyneux, during dur-ing their absence. Perry Butcher is visiting his sister, Mrs. Earl Gillespie, at Lomas, Colorado. John Cook has returned from Salt Lake where v he has been under a doctor's care-Noble care-Noble Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Clark, in the Navy for the past two years, has received re-ceived his honorable discharge and is now at home. Noble was stationed at Hawaii during most of his enlistment. Mr. and Mrs. James Butcher Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston, and Mr. and Mrs. Olen Perryman enjoyed a social Thursday afternoon after-noon at the Baptist church in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Laddie Timothy, Kaysville, and Mrs. Ora Campbell, Camp-bell, Salt Lake City, attended the ward reunion, Feb. 22. Mrs. Tanner, of Salt Lake is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Bill Brisbin. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ross, Park City, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Wallace, Wal-lace, Vancouver, Wash., spent a week recently with the Ross families and with Mrs. Elaine Stanley. Bryce White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon White had his tonsils ton-sils removed Saturday at the Roosevelt hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Haycock and Charlie Hammond, of Helper, Help-er, visited recently with their aunt, Mrs. Bill Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wiscombe, and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Seeley enjoyed the social held Friday evening at the new Whiterock's chapel. Mary Collins, daughter of Mrs. Golden Collins, entertained 19 friends at a birthday party at her home, Feb. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Squire Mangum attended funeral services for Mrs. Mangum's mother, Mrs. Hall at Enterprise last week. Stephen Eldredge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge has been ill this week and unable un-able to attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Collins, of Salt Lake City, and, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harris, of Alta-mont, Alta-mont, attended the ward reunion re-union last week. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins and son, Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson and Myrtle Collins attended the wedding wed-ding dance and reception for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walquist. held at Leota Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bodily, of Gusher, and Barbie White attended the meeting -held Sunday Sun-day at Alterra seminary for Indian In-dian members of the ward. Mrs. Julia Kettle, Mrs. Millie Hatch, Mrs. Ora Coston, Mrs. I v o Seeley, George Bracken, Spencer Squire and Jesse Hullinger Hul-linger attended the convention of Uintah school district employees em-ployees held Saturday at Vernal. Mrs. Jesse Butcher entertained enter-tained at a birthday dinner, Sunday, Sun-day, in honor of her grandson's, Charles', birthday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Butcher and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baumgaertel, Mr. and Mrs. James Butcher and son Charles, Mr. and Mrs. Olen Perryman, and Miss LaWanna Dillman. Elton Kettle has been working work-ing in Myton the past few weeks. |
