Show Leeton-Cennelt Delma Long The Gold and Green ball was held here Tuesday evening. Visitors Vis-itors from the Stake Board were Dr. and Mrs. R. V. Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ivory, Curtis Walton and son, and Theron Leavitt. The floor show was presented pre-sented by the M-Men and Gleaners. Glean-ers. Betty Asay was crowned queen by Bishop Bolton. Ray Haslam was her escort. J. A. Houston has been confined con-fined to the Roosevelt hospital with virus pneumonia. Garr, Charles and Byron Bolton Bol-ton attended the Veterans dairy school at Roosevelt last week. Mrs. Reva Hall visited Saturday Satur-day at Lapoint with her mother, Mrs. Fred Hartle. Mrs. Joyce Bolton and Wayne Haslam, 4-H club leaders, left Sunday to attend the Leadership school at U.S.A.C.. They will be gone a week. Lynn Haslam is visiting at home. Max Holfeltz, of Logan, came with him to spend the weekend. Mrs. P. E. Russon was called to Pleasant Grove Friday morning morn-ing by the death of her father, Ole Hansen. Mr. Hansen, 75, had been ill for some time. The family left Monday to attend the services. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam visited in Vernal Friday with Mr. Haslam's mother, Mrs. Alice Haslam. |
