Show Attend Baptismal Services Sunday I Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston and Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Swisher Swish-er and family attended the special spe-cial baptismal services and dinner din-ner held at the Baptist church in Roosevelt on Easter Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Angus and two daughters attended Sacrament Sac-rament meeting at Montwel Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Ernest Betts. Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Kettle and sons. Mrs. Fred Cook and children enjoyed an Easter outing on the Duchesne river Saturday afternoon. A group of about 35 neighbors and friends enjoyed Wednesday evening, March 21, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn. The occasion was in honor of Boyd's birthday and a house-warming' combined. The Winns have recently re-cently completed and moved into in-to their new home. In honor of the birthdays of Maxine Taylor and Irene Tip-petts Tip-petts on Friday, March 23, their mothers. Mrs. Les Taylor and Mrs. Marvin Tippets, treated the students in Mrs Mary Burgess' room at the Ballard school to ice cream and cup cakes. Russel Todd accompanied several sev-eral scouters from the Roosevelt stake to Provo Saturday evening to attend the National Parks Council meeting. They returned the same evening. Mrs. Pearl Jenkins spent the nast week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs Ly.rad McConkie in Mt. Emmons. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing were Mrs. Jese Hiillineer, Mrs. Earl Winn. Wendel Johnson John-son and Bishop Golden Collins. |
