Show LA POINT Mrs. Mabel Jenkins Breaks Arm David Hacking, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Hacking, met with an accident when he fell and broke his arm in two places. The Hack-ings Hack-ings were in Salt Lake when it happened. Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Mansfield and son from Salt Lake City, spent the past weekend with Mrs. Mansfield's Mans-field's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Gold-en Winn and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Walker went to Moses Lake, Washington on a vacation and business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Hacking spent last weekend in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Thurmen Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen went to Salt Lake City Tuesday Tues-day to take their son, Elder Dams Rassmussen, where he entered the LDS Mission Home. Lawrence Lee from Artesia, Colo, was in town calling- on Mrs Thelma Winn and Mrs. Mae Sprouse. He attended the funeral services of John Hall at Bennett. The first and second Bee Hive girls gave the Tuesday program at Mutual. The teachers are Virgie Rasmussen and Margie Lee. Merl Horrocks and son . Keith and daughter Merlene went to Salt Lake City recently on business. Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins and daughter Alice were visitors in Salt Lake City Friday. Francis Lou Stubbs and sons Brent and Brian spent the week-1 end in Vernal with Mr. and Mrs Richie Stubbs Sr. and family. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins were Vernal visitors Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks were in Roosevelt Wednesday. WUma Haslem and son Sam from Alterra visited her mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton, who accompanied accom-panied them home for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson were Roosevelt visitors during the week. County Commissioner Orville Swain was in Salt Lake City on business Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Huber, Marvin Mar-vin and Ken Huber were in Craig, Colo, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dean Preece, who are former residents I of Lapoint. |
