Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Pump House Burns The La Von Atwoods had the misfortune to have their pump house burn to the ground Thursday. Thurs-day. They also had their fruit stored in the small building. The cause of the fire was an oil heater heat-er that heated their water for washing. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mayhew and three children, Mr. and Mrs. El-wayne El-wayne Gale of Salt Lake City' and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Turner and three children of Vernal visited Saturday and Sunday with the Jesse Gale family. Among those attending Relief Society and general conference in Salt Lake City during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington, Rem-ington, Kent and Phil Remington, Pres. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, Mrs. Laura Seeley, Mrs. Lois Goodrich, Bishop and Mrs. Earl Murray and William Cv Larsen. A NEW BABY Mr. and Mrs. Arland Murray announce the arrival of a. baby son born Oct. 3 at the Roosevelt Hospital. The Murrays' two other children have been staying here in Bluebell with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jenkins. VISIT UNIVERSITY The following seniors ' from Bluebell enjoyed a trip to the University of Utah on Saturday: Jay Goodrich, Jerry Bird, Garth Remington, Elaine Jenkins, Drew Goodrich, Phil Mathews and Bob Goodrich. The purpose of this trip was to introduce and encourage the graduates to go on to college. The group enjoyed the football game between Denver and Utah before returning home that night. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie B. Goodrich and Mrs. M. Verona Verona Winkler spent two days in Salt Lake City last week; Mrs. Lee Goodrich attended the UEA Convention. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray returned re-turned home Thursday after spending spend-ing the past three weeks in Salt Lake City where he has been working. Mr. and Mrs. William O. Larsen Lar-sen and family spent a few days visiting with relatives in Salt Lake City during the week, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Goodrich of Salem spent Saturday and Sunday visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. Gene Barrett spent several days in the Roosevelt Hospital last week receiving medical, treatment. He was brought home Saturday. JAMES BIRD INJURED ' AS TRACTOR TIPS OVER James Bird had the misfortune while riding to tip over his tractor. trac-tor. He suffered three broken ribs and bruises. The steering on the tractor was broken. The following Beehive girls and their leaders toured the Mt. Emmons Em-mons milk plant Thursday: Jean Remington, Phyllis Powell, Dian Thomas, Jeanee Seeley, La Ree Larsen, Mary Lee Lisonbee. This is to fulfill a Beehive requirement. Sunday visitors in Bluebell were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goodrich and two boys of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lisonbee of Granger, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Harmston and Mr. and Mrs. Harold White of Roosevelt. Also visiting here were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Goodrich of Bonanza. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson are home after spending some time in Salt Lake City where Mrs. Anderson underwent a major operation. Mrs. Jeanne Richman and two children and Marilyn Jennings of Provo spent Saturday and Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner L. Goodrich. |
