Show Record Changes In Assessor's Office Studied By County The Utah State Tax Commission Commis-sion has asked Duchesne County to adopt a new type of assessment record, according to Assessor G. B. Workman. Mr. Workman recently met with State Tax Commission officials in Salt Lake City, where the new type of assessment record for the counties in the state was explained to him. In his report to the Duchesne County commissioners, Assessor Workman told the board that adoption of the new procedure-would procedure-would do away with the old tax assessment roll books and would put a five-year individual assessment assess-ment record on a blotter. He pointed out to' the commissioners commission-ers that this would require additional ad-ditional equipment and some extra1 ex-tra1 work now, but in the long run, it would be less expensive than maintaining the tax roll book system. No' decision was made on the matter, pending receipt re-ceipt of additional detailed information. |
