Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Ramona Nielson Weds in Wash. A marriage of interest to the i people of the Uintah Basin was announced by Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Ver-nal Nielson, former residents of Arcadia, of their daughter Ramona to Richard E. Webley, at Quincy, Wash., on June 4, 1955. We all wish the young couple a very happy future. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen made a business trip to Vernal Monday. Arden Evans and son, Wilford, took a load of hogs to Salt Lake Wednesday. ATTEND MIA CONFERENCE Mrs. Lois Terpening, Mrs. Gladys Glad-ys Capson, Eleanor and Richard Capson, Marsha Lusty and Harold Groves, Jr. went to Salt Lake, Wednesday to attend MIA conference. confer-ence. Eleanor and Richard Cap-son, Cap-son, Marsha Lusty and Harold Groves, Jr. participated in the Dance Festival. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson in Myton and Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solomonson in Roosevelt. Evan Lusty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty graduated from the Guide Patrol class in Primary June 5. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert took the truck back up to Moses Lake, Washington to get their furniture. Mr." and Mrs. Grant Peel and children of Altamont visited Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty. Miss Naomi Gilbert returned to Provo where she will attend summer sum-mer school. Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Walters and daughter, Ruth, Mrs. Ethel Taylor of Bridgeland attended Sacrament Sa-crament meeting here Sunday. R. G. ROSS SHOWS FILMS R. G. Ross showed some very interesting films of his travels in Europe while he was in the Service. Ser-vice. He showed them after Sacrament Sa-crament meeting. Joe Walters, Max Tayolr and Lloyd Brady were in the Service with Mr. Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Eldredge, of Vernal, visited Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Eldredge's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson. Mrs. Beverly Olsen and son, Kim, returned re-turned to Vernal with them for a visit. Delmer Ross accompanied Gwen Bodily to Salt Lake with Bodilys' furniture. Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily Bod-ily and Donna Ross left Monday for Salt Lake. Donna went out to help the Bodilys get settled in their home. - Arthur Massey, of Vernal, visited vis-ited his sister, Mrs. Merle Ross and family. Floyd Ross and son, Brent, visited vis-ited at the home of Mrs. Merle Ross on Sunday. Mrs. Min Pace, of California, is visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Josie, of Salt Lake City, are rejoicing over the arrival of a new baby daughter. daugh-ter. Jack made his home here with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Robis and family, Mrs. Bill Calvin and family fam-ily of Salt Lake, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen. Ronnie Calvin came out to spend the summer with the Jensens. |
