Show Forest Ranger Talks At EUwanis Meeting Members of the local Kiwanis Club last night heard a very interesting in-teresting talk on our National . Forests, their growth and develop-1 ment during the past fifty years since they came into being. The j speaker was William Worf, ranger at the Elkhorn division of the Ashley National Forest. Mr. Worf, who replaced George Walkup when he retired over a year ago, discussed some of the local problems he and his associates asso-ciates had to cope with, and asked service and civic clubs to support the progressive program they i have in the offing for the future. John Wogec, club president, conducted the meeting and announced an-nounced that on June 29 the club would elect a new vice-president and another director to fill vacancies vacan-cies caused with the recent resignation resig-nation of Don Nielson as president presi-dent and Cecil Mitchell, a director. Next week the club will go to Vernal for a Thursday meeting with that club. I |
