Show Open House Will Honor David R. Andrews Sun. David R. Andrews, who will celebrate his seventy-ninth birthday birth-day Sunday, June 19, will be honored hon-ored at an open house from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m- at the Howard Andrews An-drews residence. Friends of Mr. Andrews are cordially invited to attend the celebration. Mr. Andrews is an early pioneer of the Uintah Basin. He married Letitia Davis shortly after coming com-ing to the Basin. She died in 1947. Mr. Andrews was employed at Whitlock's Store in Leeton for several years, and later worked at Leslie Ashton and Sons. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Andrews, five of whom are still living. They are: Howard, Roosevelt; Bob, Canoga Park, Calif.; Frank, Santa Monica, Califs Ella Belcher, Anadarko, Oklahoma; Oklaho-ma; Ann Riss, Sherman Oaks, Calif. A son, Joe, died at the age of 21. Mr. Andrews makes his home with his son, Howard, and family in Roosevelt. |
