Mrs Ruth Murray attended funeral services for her uncle last week at St. Georee. Mr and Mrs. Frank Chamber-lin Chamber-lin have as their houseguest Darroll Montgomery, of Eugene Oregon. He is Mrs. Chamber-lin Chamber-lin s nephew. Thomas Richards, formerly of Randlett. was an overnight visitor vis-itor at the Bob Marimon home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Houston entertained en-tertained Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Allred, Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin at a chicken dinner Thursday evening. Moana Smith, who is employed em-ployed at Hi-Land Dairy, Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, visited Saturday and Sunday Sun-day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Fosdick and Miss Margaret Anderson were weekend guests at the Har-. Har-. old Anderson and Walter Anderson An-derson homes in Upalco. Those from Whiterocks ward who attended the Saturday eve- ning program at Alterra, sponsored spon-sored by the Ketora club of B. Y. U., were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Walker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh White and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Trujillo and I family, Bishop and Mrs. Preston L. Atwood and family: Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith and family and a number of Indian families. fam-ilies. Sacrament services were en- j joyed in the LDS church Sunday Sun-day by members of the ward, i several missionaries and Indian families. Joseph Hoppi, a native ' of New Zealand and a student I at Brigham Young university, I and six members of his club i were present, three of whov.i had filled missions to New Zealand, Zea-land, were present. A bazaar will be held at the Whiterocks ward chapel Saturday, Satur-day, Dec. 9, sponsored by the two relief societies. Everyone is ! invited. The bazaar opens at 1 . p. m. with a children's dance, I including a fish pond and other entertainment. Santa will be ; there to accept letters from the children. Every child's admission admis-sion is a five cent article suitable suit-able for the fish pond. The ad-I ad-I mission for women is a baked dish for the food sale. Food will be sold afternoon and evening, with dancing and a quilt auction in the evening. |
