Show Attend PTA In Altamont Apr. 30 Those from Altonah attending PTA at the Altamont High School, Wednesday night were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Ma'xfield, Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Jr.. Mrs. Alora Kolb, Mrs. Francis Allred, Mrs. Lola Jones Mr. Marion Reese, Mrs. Dora Bird, and Mr. and Mrs. Clinty Ames. New officers were elected for 1953. Mrs. Alora Kolb was elected elect-ed for vice president and Mrs. Francis Allred as secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Watter-son Watter-son and family, of Salt Lake City, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chase Watterson, and Clyde Lambert, recently. Rex Fowler, student of the U of U in Salt Lake City, was home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Delos Bird, who have been working in Salt Lake City the past winter, returned to their home in Altonah during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris made a business trip to Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Randel Wardle and family, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days visiting Mrs. Wardle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and daughters, of Salt Lake City, spent Saturday and Sun day with Mrs. Oman's father, Hans Jacobson, and her brother, Gerald and family. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Agneu and family moved to Rooseveit Monday. Mr. Agneu is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett, Jr., of Altamont, have purchased the home and lot of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson' here in town. Barton Leu, Stake High Councilman Coun-cilman from Talmage. was a visitor in Sunday School, Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay and pirls. of ioka, visited in Altonah Sunday. Clyae Lambert has purchased the Randel Wardle home," which was formerly owned by Mrs. Elsie Chidester. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Oliver spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen. Ed Davis was in Duchesne, receiving medical care. Tuesday. Evan Hansen, of Mt. Emmons, has been grading roads during the week. Richard Clark accompanied a man from the Forest Department Depart-ment of Vernal, to the top of Petty Mountain, Tuesday, to measure the snow. W. B. Stoddard, of Randlet, was a visitor at the home of Gilbert Gil-bert Beebe. Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Von Timothy and family and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Timothy and family visited relatives h&t& 6vei the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark and Mrs. Mary Carroll s-pent a couple of days in Salt Lake City during the week, returning home Thursday. Mrs. Jerry Clark spent several sever-al days in Vernal last week, to be near her daughter, Mrs. Alta Karren, who is in the Vernal hospital. Mrs. Afton Forakis, at Lapoint. Mr. Mecham has been emnloyed at the Fowler service station for the past 6 years. |
