Show LDS Ward CEeans Church And Works On Welfare A large group, representing all of the' organizations in the Myton Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, assembled at the Ward Chapel, Friday and again on Saturday to take over their duties du-ties on 'Clean-Up-Day." The women wo-men did a thorough job of renovating reno-vating the, interior of the building, build-ing, while the. men mowed the lawn and in general did a facelifting face-lifting on the grounds surrounding surround-ing the chapel. As crews were also busy with tractors on the Welfare Farm project and shearing sheep at another location, the. ladies provided pro-vided an excellent lunch and served a noon-time meal to the weary workers at the projects. Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Ho'mej Robinson, Mrs. W. H. Linck and Mrs.. W. R. Harris attended the American Legion Auxiliary card party, sponsored by Unit No. 64 at Roosevelt, Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Robinson was the lucky winner of high score. - Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Peatross returned Friday from a visit to Salt Lake City, driving a .newj car. I Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Gingell and small son, who' have been residing re-siding in Tooele during the winter win-ter months, returned last week to take up residence -on their farm near town, where Lyle found plenty of farm duties awaiting him. |
