Jensen County Agricultural Agent Rulon Anderton, of Roosevelt, represented Duchesne county at the recent leadership school in Logan, sponsored by the Extension Exten-sion service. The school featured discussions on topics of general interest to farm people, including includ-ing the outlook for 1950, farm policy and housing. Department sessions were held for men on soil fertility, artificial breeding, livestock improvement, and range seeding. Leaders from the entire state attended this annual school. All alfalfa seed producers and bee keepers will want to attend 1 county school to be held Jan. 26 at Myton. All phases of seed and honey production will bn discussed, including cultural practices, inject control, prevention pre-vention of bee losses, and seed I certification. |
