Richard Klinger, of Rexburg, Ida., has been visiting his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Boyd Winn. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson John-son entertained Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd and JoAnn on Jan. 10. The occasion honored Mrs. Todd's birthday. Tony Garcia, confined to the Ft. Duchesne hospital for over a month, is now able to be up in a wheel chair part of the time. He expects to remain in the hospital for at least another an-other two months. Mrs. Francis Perryman entertained enter-tained at a pink and blue shower, show-er, Tuesday, Jan. 3, for Mrs. Ferris Winn. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus, Mr. and Mrs. Elden White, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wiscombe, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Mangum, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen enjoyed en-joyed a pot-luck supper Sunday evening at the John Cook home. Carl Hall was in the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital all of last week. George Allred drove the school bus during his absence. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham Bingh-am spent Sunday afternoon with friends and relatives in Ft. Duchesne. Du-chesne. Mrs. E. C. Coston received word last week of the sudden death of her brother - in - law, James Kilby, of Kansas. Mrs. Mariner McMullin and sons and Collen Robinson and Charles Walquist, of Idaho Falls, visited one day last week with Mrs. Pearl Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson and two children spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson, of Vernal. Orlan Cook left Dec. 15 to work in Burley, Idaho. A group of Ballard Scouts attended the Court of Honor at the Roosevelt 2nd ward, Sunday Sun-day evening. A waffle supper was served New Year's eve by Mrs. Effie Winn, of Alterra, for 31 of her descendants. Three daughters, Mrs. Albert Brower and family, fam-ily, of St. Anthony, Ida.; Mrs. Jesse Dean, Roosevelt; and Mrs. Earl Gardner, Neola; and sons, Morris, Neola; Frank, Independence; Indepen-dence; Boyd and Ferris Winn, Ballard, and members of their families attended. |
