Show Six From School District Go To Denver Meet The Duchesne County School District was represented at the annual conference of the Association Asso-ciation for Childhood Education Educa-tion International, held at Denver, Den-ver, April 4 to 10. Mrs. Arietta Williams, district dis-trict elementary school supervisor, super-visor, states that she and five elementary teachers from this county atterfded the conference. Teachers attending the Denver conference from this district were: Edna Smith, Tabiona; La-Rue La-Rue Burgess, Myton; Virginia Roberts, Myton; Mary Snyder, Altonah, and Lillian Wilkerson, Roosevelt. "Attending the convention was a very rich experience. Besides Be-sides hearing eminent speakers in the field of education, and participating in study groups; an opportunity to visit Denver schools given conference members; mem-bers; the opportunity to meet and share ideas with educators from all parts of the United States and Canada, as well as otherr countries, was also one of the conference highlights. These teachers from tha Duchesne Du-chesne County School District expressed themselves as enjoying enjoy-ing every minute of the conference," con-ference," Mrs. Williams said. Mrs. Williams served as recorder re-corder in one of the study groups at the conference. She attended conference of the ACEI held in Philadelphia last year. The 1954 conference of this group is to convene in St. Paul, Minn. |
