The program was as follows: fol-lows: song, "Abide With Me," sung by the congregation; a scriptural reading, Martha MoT-rill; MoT-rill; choral reading, First Intermediate In-termediate class; talk, 'The Story of Christ's Resurrection, Doris Harvey; choral reading, Lamond and Wanda Ann Morrill; Mor-rill; talk, "Book of Mormon and Resurrection, Rondal McKee; song, "Easter Morning," Deon Merkley and Barbara Harvey; choral reading, Elvin Dee Morrill Mor-rill and Gaylon McKee; talk, "Latter-day Evidences of the Resurrection," Kay Goodrich; song, "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," by the congregation. congre-gation. John T. Wilson was honored Sunday for his birthday by his children. Those who were here from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Burkenpass, Mr. and Mrs. Don Hughes, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Weight, of Draper; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wilson, of Neola; El-mond El-mond Wilson, of Provo and El-dred El-dred Wilson, of Tooele. Mrs. Darrell Goodrich and son, Dean, returned home Saturday Sat-urday frotn Salt Lake, where they have spent a week. Dean was in the L.D.S. hospital undergoing un-dergoing surgery on his leg. Duane Caldwell is home on leave from the U. S. Navy. He is stationed in the Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Caldwell and children, chil-dren, who have been visiting the past few months in Pasco, Washington - with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkins, returned with him. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bow-den Bow-den and Mrs. Rex King and children, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich. Good-rich. Franklyn Murray, who has been stationed with the Army in Korea, is home this week on a furlough. Fireside Chat was held Sunday Sun-day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Goodrich. Kay Goodrich, a recently returned missionary, was the speaker and he showed many picture slides which he took while in the Eastern East-ern States that were of interest to the group. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Goodrich went to Salt Lake City, Friday where they attended the wedding wed-ding of Merlyn Ross and Gwen Bodily in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. John Lemon was honored Saturday afternoon at a birthday birth-day party celebrating his first year. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton are the parents of a baby gill born last week in the Roosevelt hospital. Deon Merkley was honored Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Shardon Morrill for a carpet sewing party. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served and prizes awarded. Monday evening the Primary officers met at the home of Mrs. Blayne Morrill for their yearly testimony meeting. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by the offi-l cers. Kaye Morrill, Lorna McKee and Joan Morrill were sustained Sunday as workers in the Primary. Pri-mary. The Sunday evening program was under the direction of the M.I.A. The program was as follows: fol-lows: talks were given by Deon Merkley, Kay Goodrich and Carl Holley, Uintah Basin Boy Scout Fieldman; a piano solo was played by Marta Morrill, a girls chorus sang two numbers, "Should You Feel Inclined to Censure," and "Shall the Youth of Zion Falter." |
