Show Get Caps & Gowns .... 120 Seniors To Get Diplomas At May 21 Rites At Union High Seniors at Union High School this week were being measured for caps and gowns for the school's second annual graduating graduat-ing exercises this spring. The graduates-elect will receive re-ceive their diplomas the evening eve-ning of May 21, said Lamont Nielson.. Some 120 seniors are expected expect-ed to receive diplomas, one of the largest graduating classes in the history of the Uintah Basin. One service man's equivalency equiva-lency certificate will be awarded. award-ed. - ,- A committee Wednesday completed com-pleted a list of students from the senior class to be graduated with honors, Mr. Nielson said. The honor students include Nadine Ottoson, Lynne Goodrich, Good-rich, Kenneth Nickell, Velma Moosman. Ruth Burr, LeeRae Drollinger, Mary Murphy, Doyle Huber and Delores Brown. They were selected on the basis of their scholastic achievements achieve-ments during the year. All have been active in student body affairs. af-fairs. The graduation ceremonies will be conducted in .Union's gymnasium. Speakers will be members of the graduating class. A dance is planned after the exercises. |
