Show Uintah Sndiasi Sslieo! Scouts Stage Elaborate Court Of lienor Program A Boy Scout court of honor was held April 27 at the Uintah Indian school, Whiterocks, with H. Handforth in charge of the Scout drill. Patriotic music was played during the ceremonial log, and lighted candles and totem poles were displayed on the ceremonial ceremon-ial table. Scouts and Scouters repeated the Scout conservation law with Roy Adams, troop commander. J. D. Fosdick directed the Cubs in songs and yells, after which awards were presented. Cubs received cards from their Den Mothers, while Robert Mar-imon Mar-imon and Henry Wopsock presented pre-sented cards to the 23 first and second-class Scouts. Scouters were recoft'nized by Mr. Adams. Those given letters of appreciation were Dwight Copperfield, Reid Taveapont, A. White, J. D. Fosdick, H. Hand-forth, Hand-forth, and Father Joseph Hog-ben. Hog-ben. Den Mothers, Miss J. Bay-haylle, Bay-haylle, Mrs. H. Taveapont, Mrs. Lulu Murdock, Mrs. R. Perriet. and Mrs. M. Denver, received cards of appreciation from Harry Har-ry Cotonuts, S.P.L. and Den Chief. Other D.C.'s present were Charles Chapoose, Charles Redfoot, and Almon Johnson. The Den Chiefs and the 34 Cubs wore feathered headbands. Following the Grand Wolf howl and the Cub living circle, Indian singing and dancing commenced. com-menced. The dancers included Wilbur Cuch, Bishop Arrowchis, Vincent Cuch, Alfonso Cuch, and Floyd Wopsock. Singers were Jasper Cuch, Edgar Green- stick, Charles CZ -- Appah.
