Show MARY E. WARDLE Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day at 1 p.m. in the Roosevelt LDS stake chapel for Mrs. Mary Elenore Wardle, 22, who died in a Salt Lake hospital, Dec. 29, of complications after childbirth. Bi.ohop Alva Snow of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Third ward conducted the services. Mrs. Wardle was born March 14, 1933, in Bridgeland, a daughter daugh-ter of Don and Edna Case Shelton. She married Buddie Delos Wardle July 14, 1951 in Elko, Nevada. She had lived the past two years in Murray. Surviving are' her husband, 3 small sons, Darrell, Steven and an unnamed infant son, all of Murray; Mur-ray; her parent's, two brothers, Norton and Joe of Roosevelt; three sister, Mrs. Jack (Nona) Rasmus- sen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Blaine (Betty) Mecham, Levington, N. M.; Mrs. Don (Geniel) Morgan, Ogden; and a grandmother, Mrs'. Margaret Margar-et Case, Burley, Idaho. 'Burial took place in the Roosevelt Roose-velt City cemetery under the direction di-rection of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. CHARLES E. REED, SR. ROOSEVELT Final rites were held at 1 p.m. in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Vernal for Charles E. Reed, Sr., 68, who died in the Vernal Hospital Tuesday, Tues-day, Jan. 3, at 4:20 a.m. after a brief illness. Mr. Reed was born in Whiterocks Sept. 22, 1887, a son of James and Margaret Reed. He is survived by his widow, Louise J. Reed, Roosevelt; a son, Charles Jr. Roosevelt; four daughters,- Mrs. Arline Wardle, Roosevelt; Mrs. Louise Rhodd, Tooele; Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Phillips and Mrs. Mary Hansen, Han-sen, Vernal; six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Harris, Ft. Duchesne.. At the time of his death Mr. Reed was chairman of the Uintah-Ouray Uintah-Ouray Indian agency Board of Education and had been active in affairs of the Ute tribe on the mm -wwm'-!m-wsm-?mm-.'m.wJjmm5mzm reservation for many years. Burial was in the Memorial Park in Vernal, under the direction direc-tion of the Vernal Mortuary. TERESSA T. WORKMAN FT. DUCHESNE Funeral services ser-vices were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Ballard LDS ward chapel with Bishop Ashael Perry of the Moffat ward presiding, for Mrs. Theresa T. Workman, 74, who died Dec. 30 at 4:20 p.m. of a lingering illness. Mrs. Workman was born at Spanish Fork in 1882, and was a members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day' Saints. She married John Reed in 1897. He died in March, 1905, and' she' married mar-ried Ammon Nephi Workman Sept. 13, 1905. She is survived by her husband, Ft. Duchesne; four sons and three daughters, Stacy Rob Reed, Ft. Duchesne; David Harris Workman, Roy; Joseph Arthur Workman, Richfield; William W. Workman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Juanita M. Allen, Altonah; Mrs. Lucille Thompson, Park City, and Mrs. Merle Kelley, Denver, Colo.; 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
