Show Ktonali Ethel Beebe Joint Program The Altonah Ward Sunday school and Sacrament meeting held a conjoint .program Sunday morning at 11 a.m. as follows: Duet, "Star of the East", Alta and Bonnie Ames with Sharrel Ames accompanist; Poem, "Two Little Stockings", Magaret Maxfield; Talk, Bishop J. Arthur Timothy; Guitar Solo, "Deck the Halls", "We Three Kings" by Donald Fowler; Poem, "There'll Always Be a Christmas", Ethel Beebe; Guest speaker was E. L, Murphy of Upalco. Cliff ciark and Bob AUred who are employed and going to school in Salt Lake City spent the holidays holi-days with Oliff's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark. Cpl. Robert L. Clark arrived home Saturday, Dec. 24th to spend the holidays with home folks. He flew from Donaldson Air Force Base, Greenfield, So, Carolina, where he has been stationed. He will, report at Hill Field Air Force Base, here in Utah on Jan. 6th, and then to Camp Carson, Colo, before returning to So. Carolina, j Other guests at the home of Mrs. I Vendetta Clark during the holiday's holi-day's were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark and daughters of Shelby, Montana, Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark and daughter of Lake Bay Washington, Wash-ington, Mr. and Mrs, Rex Clark and daughter of Salt Lake and Mrs. Robert L. Clark of Bluebell. They were all Christmas day dinner din-ner guests at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marian Barrett, in Bluebell. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Young of Arizona spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump and family. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potts and daughters of Duchesne' and Ted Snyder of Tooele visited at the homes of Mrs. ElVa Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson during the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames were Christmas holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wirthlin in Salt Lake, Their grandson, Mark returned re-turned home with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and son of Ioka called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden Sunday, Dec. 25. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen, of Artesia spent Monday and Tuesday, Tues-day, Dec. 26 and 27 at their farm here'. They say their 4 lb. 14 oz. son born Dec. 10 at the Vernal hospital is still in the hospital', but they are hoping they will be able to bring him home soon. Mr. and Mrs, Gilbert Anderson of Lapoint and daughters, Phyllis Miller of Salt Lake and Lel'a Miller Mil-ler of Logan were overnight gueste of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones Dec. 25. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bird and son and Mr. and Mrs. Delar Max--field of Salt Lake City were guests of their parents, Mr, and Mrs. Linford Maxfield during the Christmas holiday weekend. |
