Show Randletl Viola Jensen - Mr, and Mrs. Leo Jorgensen and Grant Jarman and Miss Ina EUingford spent last Friday evening eve-ning playing monopoly' at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler. Mrs. Chandler served refreshments to her guests. Relief Society was held Tuesday Tues-day with Mrs. Nadine Wardle presenting the Literature lesson. Mrs Betty Jensen and sons, Dennis and Eddie, accompanied Mr. Jensen to Salt Lake, Tuesday. Mr. Jensen is employed theTe, Mr. and Mrs. Fahy Durfee and daughter, Deanna, arrived home Wednesday evening. They had spent the Christmas holidays visiting vis-iting their son and daughter-in-law in Salt Lake City. GIRLS CLEAN CRURCH A group of Mutual girls washed windows and woodwork at the ward house, Thursday afternoon, as their service project, to earn their awards. Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton spent Friday evening visiting at the J. E. Jensen home. Mrs, Nina Clark and children, Linda and Lyle of Salt Lake City, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Clark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Jorgensen. - Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dudley and baby daughter, Vickey, are visiting at the home of Mr. Dudley's Dud-ley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Dudley. Claud McMullen of Worland, Wyoming, came home' to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McMullin. Claud took his parents to Salt Lake City to spend Christmas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harris and family. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Naylor, of Clearfield, are visiting at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor. HAVE NEW YEAR'S DANCE The' MIA held their New Year's Eve dance Saturday evening. Dancing was enjoyed to the music of Wif Workman's orchestra of Roosevelt; Light refreshments were sold and noise-makers were given to the crowd to help usher in the New Year. The Abe Hatch family and the Harry Tomilson family of the Willow Wil-low Creek branch attended all Sunday meetings here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy McKee, of Rigby, Idaho, had their baby daughter named and blessed in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Her grandfather, William T. Chandler, gave her the name of "Jody." Miss Beatrice Candler of Salt Lake' City, spent the New Year's weekend holiday visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. HOLD TURKEY SHOOT The Lions Club and the Avalon Boy Scouts held their chicken and turkey shoot Saturday afternoon. |
