Show Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beebe Mrs. Jack Fisher and new daughter came home from the Roosevelt hospital, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Bowden, of Roosevelt, Mrs. Annie Bowden Bow-den and son, Lester, and Lionel Li-onel Bowden, of Myton: and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Mary Bowden and her son, Louie. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Page left Tuesday evening for Salt Lake, where Mr. Page received medical med-ical attention. Eldora Potts, of Upalco, took care of the Page children during the parents absence. ab-sence. Jim Bacon, of Roosevelt, was in Altonah Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe and Mrs. Homer Corbin visited Wednesday in Vernal. A few organizational changes chang-es were made during Sacrament meeting this week. Albert Clark was sustained as superintendent, Charlie Allred and Jerald Jac-obson Jac-obson as-, counselors. Mary Carroll Car-roll was released as chairman of the LDS girls, along with her helpers, Bell Allred, LaRue Fisher, Fish-er, and Margaret Maxfield. Chubb Reay Tuesday made a business trip to Salt Lake City. The DUP held its regular meeting at the home of Mrs. Minnie Maxfield, with Mrs. Re-ba Re-ba Timothy as assisting hostess. The lesson was omitted, and the afternoon was spent visiting. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to Mrs, LaRue Fisher, Mrs. Twila Ralphs, Mrs. Mary Riley, Mrs. Lola Jones, Mrs. Vendetta Clark, Mrs. Dora Berd and Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Maxfield. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Corbin were in Roosevelt, Monday. Mrs. Corbin received medical attention. Bill Clark and Buff Chatwin spent a few days last week at the home of Bill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark. . Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Snyder and daughter,, of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Robert Snyder, of Springville, Spring-ville, arrived the first of the week to visit with their mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, while their- husbands went deer hunting. Mrs. Mary Bowden and son, Louie, were dinner guests of Lionel Bowden in Myton, one day last week. The occasion celebrated Mr. Bowden's birthday birth-day anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Chase Watter-son Watter-son returned Thursday from a visit with relatives in Green-river, Green-river, Utah. Wallace Wardle, of Salt aLke arrived Thursday to go dei.-r hunting with his son. Randal'.. Ted Snyder, Jim Weeks and Rex Fowler arrived over the week-end to go deer hunting. Mac Burton, of Talmage, and Joseph Sweasy, of Mtn. Home, were speakers at Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Despite bad weather and deep : snow, most of the men folks left Friday to get camps set up for Saturday's deer hunting.
