Show ML Emmons Deane Case Mr. and Mrs. Dee L. Holder, of Salt Lake City, were here during the week with Dee's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Holder. The elder Mr. Holder accompanied Dee and his wife to Salt Lake to receive treatment for asthma and arthritis. Mr. and Mrs. Lindon Hansen went to Salt Lake Wednesday to visit a couple of days with Lindon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hansen. While there they celebrated C. A. Hansen's birthday. birth-day. Lorraine Dastrup, a USAC student, spent the weekend at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Dastrup. Miss Eva Dean Crosby is caring car-ing for the post office while Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr hunt deer in the Vernal area. Mrs. Neil Murray, of Myton, is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers, while her husband is hunting deer. LaRae Wall, employed in Salt Lake, was home Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Evan Hansen went to Salt Lake Friday night to be ( with her father, Edgar Thayne, who underwent a major operation, opera-tion, Saturday morning. The high school has decided to continue the Thursday night picture shows which were started start-ed last year. The proceeds will be used for new library books, supplies for the home ec department, de-partment, and musical instruments. instru-ments. According-- to Principal Robert Paulsen, shows will not be presented every week, but only a sufficient number throughout the year to enable the school to purchase the items most needed.
