Show New Child Welfare Worker Appointed For County Mrs. Frances A. Jones, Eureka, Eu-reka, has been appointed child welfare worker for the Duchesne Du-chesne County Department of Public Welfare, effective Sept. 16, to succeed Mrs. Lois Lusty Terpening, who is resigning as of that date. Mrs. Jones has had several years experience as a case worker work-er in Juab county. Later she was a child welfare worker in that county, and in 1943 resigned re-signed and joined the Navy reserve, where she was given a Naval office commission in charge of the Navy relief office, of-fice, San Diego, Calif. After three years in that position, she was appointed senior child welfare wel-fare worker for the Carbon County Department of Public Health. She remained in Carbon Car-bon county for a year, before resigning to become executive secretary of the Catholic Charities Chari-ties organization. II for the Salt Lake City LDS mission home, preparatory to leaving about Sept. 15 for the Brazilian mission field. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of Altamont high school. |
