Robinson motored to Montpelier Monday to bring home from the Bear Lake hospital Mrs. Ray Elggren and brand new baby daughter. Mrs. Elggren is the former Miss Ruth. Robinson, daughter of Jos. C. Robinson. Her husband is with the Navy in the South Pacific. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Lamborn and Mrs. Albert R. Weston made a trip to Logan last Thursday, taking with them 80 pounds of fat for the war salvage. The two ladies have rendered great assistance to the war in procuring and rendering many hundreds of pounds of waste fat from Parnell Johnsons slaughter house, here. Jos. C. Robinson took his aged father to Logan for an eye examination Monday. Father Robinson has been totally blind for some time, but the examination disclosed that no help was possible. The baby was bom at Soda Springs, Idaho. The home is in Chesterfield and the father is in the armed forces at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Mrs. Eliza Cook of Paris spent several days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Luther Bryson. She ds Mr. Bryson's sister. Word has been received that Jyrtdon Dean has been seriously wounded. Lyndon was wounded Oct. 25th. His wife is in St. John, Kansas, with her parents. We are wishing him a speedy recovery with no ill effects. He was wounded in Belgium. Word has been received that Sam Bohner is back in the U. S. for ship repair. Mr. Elwin Dickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Dickson, who has been away in service for nearly four years, is home.
