TRAINING BRIEFS CAMP Fort Douglas, Utah Boxing and wrestling tournaments started at the Fort Douglas UMTO Monday night under the suprevision of Captain Theodore P. Bank, Athletic Officer. Bank is head football coach at the University of Idaho. Trophies are awarded to the winners in each class. We will pay CASH for good Used CARS. Tuesday evening there was a variety for the CMTO Trainees. The program was sponsored by Chaplain R. E. Curtis of the Fort Douglas, District COC. This was the fourth of a series of entertainments furnished the boys each Tuesday and Friday evening. Many friends and relatives of GMTC Trainees at Fort Douglas visited the camp last Sunday." In .addition to being welcome whenever the boys are not "on the job there will be a special Visitors Day on Thursday, July 29th, with special ceremonies and activities. This years OMTC encampment at Fort Douglas, has been unusually free from sickness and disabilities of all kinds, according to 1st Lt. H. R. Rothman, assistant surgeon. Saturday until 10:00 p. m. Sunday, they are strictly on their own. Many of the boys take the opportuni- ty of visiting friends or relatives in Salt Lake City, while those who dont know anyone In the city, frequently spend their time ifl sightseeing or mak ing the rounds of movies. One young chap, riding back to camp on the last bus before the 10:00 p. m. deadline, was overheard to remark that he had just been to three different theatres, e two of which were playing bills.
