Weston Tuesday of last week and gave a parcel shower in honor of Mrs. liulon J. Weston. On Wednesday night May 28, a public miscellaneous sliower was held in the ward amusement hall in honor of iiarold.F. Johnson. The evening was spent in danujng and social chat alid at a hue hour refreshment consisting of ice cream, cake and punch were served. The young couple received many beautiful and useful presents, and ail had a good time. There was a large attendance at the shower including relatives and friends from Green River, Wyo. Randolph and Garden City. Mr. an Mrs. Leo Johnson has returned from Castle Dale, where he taught school the past winter, lie was accompanied by Miiss Kvjiiis who is visiting here a short time. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. X. Weston and family motored to Cache Valley early Friday morning, spending Memorial Day in respect for relatives and friends, and returned Sunday. n visitors who were payand ing homage to dead realtives friends on Decoration Day were: Mr. and Mrs. David K. McLean, daughter Eunice and friend, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Newcomb and daughters, Maur-lin- e and Adair of Ogden ; Miss Ellen Lowham of Evanston; Bishop Lawrence Johnson wife and children, of Randolph; Mr. and Mrs. John Hodges, of Garden City, and others whose names we did not learn. Out-of-tow- Linda Robinson is spending the summer with her parents, ' Mr. and Mrs. Ileber C. Robinsoii, having taught school at Tooele the past winter. Mr. Ug livesnockmens J. B. Wilson, Secretary of the National Wool Marketing Corporation, a Wyoming man given national recognition, has indicated his intentions to be on hand to talk wool conditions and wool marketing. Anothers of these men, F. P. Martin, Manager of the Farmers Union Livestock Commission Company of Omaha, Nebraska, said, I am going to be there if 1 have to take an airplane. A letter just received from Ephraim Bergesen Presi dent of the Utah State Farm Bureau assures us that he will he present to deliver his message ou an equitable lax system to the livestock industry, iu conference Saturday with Mr. Denman of the Federal Farm Board, he volunteered to make every effort to secure the services of Mr. Howaid, a livestock ipan serving on the Federal Board and an of the National Farm Bureau Federation for uiir convention. Director A. E. Bowman of the Wyoming Extension Service, who never fails to deliver a message of value, has assured us thougn rushed to the limit, he will drop everything and favor us by appearing on the program. Dr. A. F. Vass, an recognized as an authority on the western range question, and a man with a world of useful information of interest and value to cattle and sheep ranchmen, has so arranged his already bulging schedule so as to favor us with his presence. Mr. J. R. Neale, the State Extension Livestock Specialist, with a store of valuable knowledge coicerning Wyoming conditions and the marketing of cattle cooperatively is also scheduled. The dairymen will be favored with the presence of Mr. Arling Gardner to entertain them writh questions relative to State requirements in sanitary .milk Miss Verna Jobannesen, production. State Leader of Home Demonstration Agents, a woman with a sunny disposition and a pleasing and valuable message to the women will be here to help make the program in the womens sessions interesting and profitable. Certainly with such an array of- - tal-- , ent coming to this county for the purpose of bringing to the livestock interests valuable and other worthwhile information our peopel should turn out 100 per cent. Remember it starts Friday June 13 at 10 A. M.. The first meeting is just as important or more so than the last.
