Show the third party efforts are leing made in every state in the union to establish an organization of i A third party the new party has been dominated the national progressive party and its recognized leader i n col theodore Theo dure roo roosevelt e elt the former president is not only the head but the of the parts parti there is IB not one of the most ardent adherents of the new part who will not freely concede coni ede that without col co roosevelt there would be no such party the excuse for the existence of the new parti part or rather the excuse that its adherents offer is that col roosevelt was wrongfully defrauded of the nomination at the chicago co contention mention of the republican party parti for col roosevelt it is claimed that there were some seventy or eighty delegates seated in the convention that nominated president taft who were not entitled to seats in that convention it is not enough that the national committee the credentials committee and the convention itself seated these thee delegates the charge is still made that these thee tat taft delegates should not have been seated and that in seating these taft delegates the convention robbed col roosevelt ot the nomination that was rightfully his in view of the oft repented charge of robbers and fraud it would strike even the casual observer that the best beet sort of campaign material for the new party parti to put forward would mould be the evidence in the several cases under contest at the consention conen tion in chicago if the charge is true tha that t the roosevelt men were robbed of their mat due at this convention then certainly an impartial review of the evidence by the general public will show this to t be the case and the ne new w party will profit much but the third are content with the mere assertion that there was waa fraud and theft and ask the public to believe the charge without putting forward an fiang to substantiate such euch a charge the roosevelt men flatly refuse to acquaint the public with the evidence on which thea the babe the charge it is significant that not one in one hundred perhaps not gnp on in one thousand of the professed followers of the new party has read the evidence upon which the charges rest or is familiar even in a general wa way with the testimony on either side in these contests lion hon william glasmann GI asmann of ogden will bs be here on friday evening to address the people in be halt half of the new party mr glasmann will doubtless repeat the charge that the nomination was stolen from col roosevelt in JU justice hicl to
