tol state stale c in the death of the prophet joseph at carthage ill and the subsequent exodus of the saints from nauvoo across the trackless plains of the then little known west mr erickson spoke with great feeling of the eary early sittle si ment of utah the hardships endured by its pioneers closing with an eloquent Der decoration oration of what the state of utah is today mr erickson was
