Show GLENWOOD MRS AIRS GEO rickenbach correspondent 0 0 camp wasatch D TJ P held a social in th the e relief society hall tuesday afternoon honoring all members in the ward over 65 years of age A program preceded a luncheon the four original pioneers in attendance were each presented a corsage of roses they are mrs mary hendrickson mrs ellen mrs lucy bell and P C peterson the program consisted of a welcome speech by mrs george rickenbach a piano solo by phil powell a reading by mrs airs delos sampson a vocal duet by lapriel and nola hellesen a reading by mrs lucille powell and old time songs by two of the pioneers P C peterson and F H bell thomas jensen of salt lake spent last weekend here visiting relatives and friends he is a former glenwood resident mrs ernest peterson and children of fairview are visiting mrs petersons mother mrs magdeline rickenbach mr and mrs arthur meeks of bicknell visited mrs meeks mecks mother mrs mary nielson saturday they were en route to their home from salt lake where they had met their daughter who was returning from a mission james hoyle attended conventions in catl lake and ogden last week mrs dell webb and little son from salt lake are visiting mrs webbs parents mr and mrs P M droyd OI mrs webb will be remembered as clara OI mr and mrs vern and family spent sunday at holden visiting relatives miss larue coombs of delta who spent the past two weeks at the home accompanied them to holden and miss wanda who had been visiting in holden came home with them miss veneva gillispie left saturday for idaho where she will spend her vacation with her brother leonard of rigby and her brother and sister in law mr and mrs wendell gillispie of idaho falls she was accompanied as far as salt lake by miss ila da dean who will visit her uncle and aunt mr air and mrs jack nesbitt wilford hermansen of grand junction colorado arrived here friday to join his family who are visiting ting here the visitors accompanied mr and mrs H C hermansen rn mrs mary hendrickson and john C hendrickson to fish lake sunday the me home science 4 H club enjoyed a party at the monroe hot springs tuesday afternoon after which they were entertained at dinner at the home of mr and mrs joseph winget of monroe mrs lorena herring who was injured in a car accident two weeks ago was brought home from richfield friday her condition is improving I 1 miss virginia rickenbach entertained members of her hei sewing club at her home thursday evening special guests were mrs lucille powell mrs george rickenbach and miss marie nielson mrs vern assisted her son glade in entertaining a number of friends at their home monday manday afternoon the occasion being glades birthday |
