Show Community Service ;An editorial in the Salt Lake Tribune has the following to say): A MOUNT PLEASANT doctor has offered a private jclf course to municipal control and public use as a playground and recreational center for the remainder of the summer. He asks no charge, requesting only that the city keep the grounds clean, and suggesting that the Boy Scouts be given charge of it. The offer is significant of a desirable trend in community com-munity life. It is reflective of personal interest in public affairs, which resolves itself into community devotion, a vital factor in civic building. The spirit of the doctoT, even more than the gift, should be a source of pride for his townspeople. |
