Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Livingston announce an-nounce the birth of a boy. Mr. and Mrs. Andres Nelson announce an-nounce the birth of a girl. Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Tom Redman, an old I resident of Moroni. , Mrs. Redman and her husband lived in Moroni for a number of years. They moved to Salt Lake City and from ' there moved to Washington with her daughter, Mrs. Lon Clark, who was there at the time of her death. Mr. and Mrs. Will Jensen are Salt Lake visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Tidwell of Richfield, Rich-field, Utah, are Moroni visitors this week. The following young people who were away teaching school or attending school spent the holidays here: Rex,; Elsie and Othmeal Keilett, Cleophia Peterson, Stafford Blackham, Vivian Anderson, Estrella and Elva . Fescher and Lucile Blackham. 1 Rupert Blackham, Cliff Bradley, Glendale Larsen, Dennis and Dallen Peterson have returned home from McGill, Nevada. Mrs. Eliza Draper, age 64, passed away at her home December 26th, following fol-lowing a weeks' illness of influenza. She was born in Moroni June 20, 1874, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peterson. I She was marriel to Riley N. Draper, ' October 19, 1898, who died about two years ago. 1 She is survived by the following children: Irene, Maben, Riley, Marvin. Anna, Nida, William and Dennis Draper, all of Moroni. One sister, Ella; and two brothers, Christian and Harry Peterson also survive . Funeral services for Mrs. Draper were held Saturday in the West Ward chapel. Prayers were offered by John Jensen and Daniel Anderson. The choir sang, "Shall We Meet Beyond Be-yond the River" and "Though Deepening Deepen-ing Trials." Special solo, "Just A Wearying" by Mrs. Ernest Anderson. , Duet, "Jesus Lover or My soul" by Mrs. Ernest Anderson and Lewis Blackham. Black-ham. The speakers were Heber Christensen Orlando Bradley and Bishop Ephratm Nelson. Interment was in the Moroni cemetery. ceme-tery. Claudean Tidwell and Gwendolyn Blackham spent the holidays at Moroni. Mrs. Cleon Anderson spent the week end in Salt Lake City. |
