Show Two Men Have Narrow Escape Ferdinand Hansen received a ; number of bruses, cubs, and lacera- tions on his head, shoulders and 'back Saturday in an accident which mi,ght have proved fatal. Mr. Hansen was j digging a cesspool for the new F. J. Nielsen home. A loaded bucket of j rocks was being brought to the sur-' sur-' face when the rope on the windlass broke, hurling the bucket and rocks .'on Mr. Hansen. He was taken to the office of Dr. P. L. Holman in an unconscious condition, but at present j is reported out of danger. ; Arthur Simons, a son of Mrs. Elsie i Simons of this city, was kicked by a ' horse which he was shoeing Saturdaj afternoon. Mr.' Simons' face was badly lacerated and cut and it required requir-ed thirty stitches to close the deep '; cut made by the horse's hoof. |
