Hp uas married in the Endowment House iin Salt Lake on January 1st. 1853 to Whs Elmira Laoma Allred and they were the parents of ten children, of whon six sons and two daughters survive him.He ia also wrvlved by thirty grandchildren. They were residents of Milburn lor forty eight years, of which Bishop Stewart served twenty eight years as Wshop. He was ordained a bishop April 20, 1890, being the first bishop ever ordaineed by the late President Anthon H. Lund. ! He was active in all church and tlvlc organizations throughout the county and was vitally .interested in uf-'Uilding the small community where he lived and labored for nearly near-ly balf a century. |
