Jones, a well respected citizen citi-zen of Mount Pleasant, has moved o Salt Lake City and lives at 725 Jrd Averoue. George Pappas of Ephraiui ha3 jpened up a new restaurant in the Aldrich building at the place where the Crystal was located. Mr. Pappas has arranged the building suitable for the business. Mr. and Mrs. K. LeRoy Barton entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday complimentary compli-mentary to Lloyd Barton. Covers were placed for Lloyd Barton, Eva Ericksen, Fannie Monsen, Harold Whittaker and the host and hostess. Mrs. Joseph Proctor came down from Salt Lake Tuesday to spend a week with her little twin grand (laughters, who arrived at the home of her son, A. W. Proctor, Monday morning, April 23. Eva Ericksen was hostess to the T. M. U. club girls Thursday evening. Luncheon was served to Fannie Mon-en, Mon-en, Melba Aldrich, Dean Webb, Gladys Ericksen, Goldie Neilson, Ruby Sorensen and Velma Tidwell. Mr. and Mrs. James oMnsen entertained enter-tained at a splendid dinner party Saturday Sat-urday evening in honor of the former's for-mer's fiftieth birthday. They had a nice ride after the party going home. The Y. L. M. I. A. of the north ward entertained with a very successful success-ful social marking the close of the winter's work, in honor of the Y. M. M. I. A., In the ward chapel Tuesday evening. Games, musical numbers, and speeches were followed by refreshments. re-freshments. About eighty were in attendance. , Edith, the 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Reusch, died last night from pneumonia following an attack of measles, and the 10-day-old infant of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Noland died Wednesday morning from hem-orrahages. hem-orrahages. Funeral arrangements have not been completed as both Mr. Reusch and Mr. Noland are on the lesert with sheep and are hard to locate. Mrs. Robert Hinckley and Mrs. John H. Seely entertained Monday afternoon at the Iatter's home in honor of Miss Margaret Candland, a ride of the month, and Miss Ruby Madsen, who leaves soon for Chicago to perform a mission for the L. D. S. church. Kewpies suspended from the chandeliers formed the centerpiece center-piece and the place cards were attractive at-tractive cupids. Covers were laid for twelve. |
