Show PAIR VIEW. Miss Agalha Larsen, who is atleiul-ing atleiul-ing the L. D. S. University is home on a vacation. Miss Iva Carlston, who is also attending at-tending school in Salt Lake, returned after a week's visit in Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Carlston of Salt Lake City visited relatives here the last week. James Bills, who has been at Camp Lewis the past winter, is home on a furlough, on account of his health. A new club has been organized in Fairview the past month, and call themselves the li. C. I. T. Their first social was a dancing party in flic school gymnasium on March 26. Last week the B. C. I. T. club was entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Myron Johnson. About forty gucijt.H were present. A very clever playlet, "The Birds' Christmas Carol," was given at the Opera House by a number of Miss, Keat's English students this week, it was well received by a large audience. au-dience. The players did exceedingly well for Junior high students. Alvin Day and J. F. Stevens returned re-turned from Storrs last week, wlvre they have been working the past win-" win-" er. A number of shrrp shenrcrs left this week for Black Rock, and others will go in a few days. E. A. Day went to Alpine, Tuenday to attend the funeral of Orville Day's infant child. Mrs. Maria Carlston celebrated her reventy-fourth birthday April 4 at her home. All of her children ex-ept ex-ept one were present. A sumptuous dinner was served to about thirty-two thirty-two relatives. |
