Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS John Bigler and family of Indian-ola Indian-ola and Mrs. Mary Quinn of Eph-raim Eph-raim were at Midway, Utah, Friday to attend the funeral of Jesse Bigler, Big-ler, who was killed by lightening on the Uinta Reservation while herding herd-ing sheep. Jesse Bigler is a son of Jacob Bigler, who died here over a year ago. Clyde McClenahan has recently accepted ac-cepted the position of local salesman sales-man for the White Sewing Machine Co. and has been doing a very fine business the past two weeks. P. C. Sperry of the Emporia Elevator Ele-vator and Feed Co. of Denver has been in Mount Pleasant this week offering of-fering 14 and 15 cents a pound for lambs. This is a very attractive price, making a lamb worth $10.00 or more. Emery Davidson, son of Amasa Davidson Da-vidson of T'ort Br'idger, Wyoming, was a Mount Pleasant visitor Saturday. Satur-day. He was guest at the home of Mrs. Asa Wilcox. Mr. and Mrs. Azel Peel entertained entertain-ed at a splendid dinner party Tuesday Tues-day in honor of Mrs. Peel's birthday anniversary. Covers were placed for twelve. Arthur Clark and George Kmudsen, who have been employed at Bingham the past few months, are in Mount Pleasant visiting relatives and friends. Mr. Clark expects to attend school at the University of Utah this winter. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Underhill left this week for a trip to Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Neilson and daughters, Irene tnd Beatrice, motored mo-tored to Salt Lake City Wednesday in ineir big Packard car. Mrs. John Gunderson and children have returned from Price. FOR SALE Good Cucumbers. Pleasant visitors during the past week. Mr. Halberg came across the mountain on a horse while Mrs. Halberg came over a few days before on the train. G. Q. Christensen, son of Judge Christensen is home' from Salt Lake City for a short visit with his father fa-ther before leaving for Baltimore to study medicine. Dr. Christensen completed com-pleted the medical course at the University Uni-versity of Utah last spring and he is now going east to specialize further. President and Mrs. A. Merz, Miss Maggie Frandsen and Burke McArtb-ur McArtb-ur were entertained at dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leander Thompson at Ephraim Tuesday evening. All members of the North Ward choir are invited to be present at the chapel Saturday evening. You will be pleased to be there. Mrs. M. H. Lundberg left Wednesday Wednes-day to join her husband at Mackay, Idaho. Wilford Drage has purchased a new five-passenger Dodge car. Mrs. Fred Ishoy and children left yesterday for her home at Kanab after visiting a month at the home of J. P. Johansen in this city. ! Angus Rosenberg was home from Fort Douglas last week to visit with ' his relatives in this city before leav-! leav-! ing for duties on the coast. Miss Ila Larsen leaves today for Vernal, where she will teach school t the coming year. , Miss Sadie Tooth, trained nurse of Salt Lake City, is here waiting on Mrs. L. P.
