Show GRANDPA KNUDSEN CELE-i CELE-i BRATES 94th. BIRTHDAY Mt. Pleasant's oldest citlnen, John Knudsen, Sr. lovingly known to his fellow townsmen as "Grandpe I Knudsen" celebrated his ninety-I ninety-I fourth birthday Tuesday at the home ' of his grand daughter, Mrs. Vern H. Gunderson. Many of his friends riand relatives called on him during .'the day and an elaborate dinner was served for thirty-flve guests. Mr. Knudsen is still enjoying good health and is mentally alert an!d 'active and keenly interested in happenings hap-penings of the day. l He Is a pioneer resident of Mt. iPleasant and an Indian War Veteran, i His aged wife died just a year ago. 'since which time he has lived with 'his grand children." He has two !sons living, John Knudsen of Bingham and Andrew Knudsen of Metre-pole, Nv4. |
