Show IDOI BELLS Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McArthur announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Elva, to Mr. Alfred Spens last Wednesday, March 19th in the Manti Temple. A wedding supper was given in their honor for immediate members of the family at the home of the bride's parents last evening. The young couple expect to leave soon for Colorado where they expect ex-pect to make their home. Miss Leoda Fowles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fowles of this city, and Mr. George Dunham, who recently returned from Prance with the 145th field artillery, were married mar-ried at Manti on Thursday, March 13th. A wedding supper was given at the home of the bride's parents last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dunham will make their home for the present at Salt Lake City. The many friends of Miss Glenna Gunderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Gunderson of Price, will be pleased to learn of her marriage to Mr. Jack Clifford of Denver, Colorado, Colo-rado, which took place at Price at 5:30 p. m. on Thursday, March 13th. Judge George Christensen perrormed the ceremony. A wedding dinner followed the marriage, holding covers for only near relatives of the family. Mr. and Mrs. John Gunderson Gun-derson of Mt. Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. Lars Gunderson of Nephi attended at-tended the reception. Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Clemensen have announced the marriage of their daughter, Anna, to Charles H. Ohms of Elgin, Ore. The ceremony was performed at the bride's home in the presence of the immediate relatives rela-tives and close friends. Wednesday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. R. B. Norton officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Ina Ericksen, as bridesmaid and Newton Clemensen was the bridegroom's best man. A beautifully appointed breakfast for the wedding party immediately followed fol-lowed the ceremony. The young couple cou-ple left on the noon train on a short honeyrhoon trip and will later go to Elgin, Oregon, where they will make their home. The marriage of Miss Helen Frank of Salt Lake and Mr. Burke McArthur McAr-thur of Mt. Pleasant took place Wednesday Wed-nesday in the Salt Lake temple. Apostle O. F. Whitney performing the ceremony. A dinner followed at the Hotel Utah. The table decoration decora-tion was a large basket of shower roses and Scotch heather tied with a bow of pink maline. Hawaiian troubadours trou-badours furnished music. The bride wore a charming model of flesh georgette crepe trimmed with ostrich feathers, and carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and sweet peas. After a short wedding trip, the young couple will be at home to their friends in Mt. Pleasant. S. L. Tribune. |
