Show Popular Mt. Pleasant Young People Married A beavviful wedding reception and dinner w; s given Friday evening at the home of Hans L. Lund it this city ci-ty in honor. of h s son, Joseph L. Lund and Mi.-s August a L. Weinreich w ho were- married Wednesday, February 25, 1914, in the Manii Temple. TJjre were about forty people seated at dinner and President C. N. Lund gave a very timely talk in response re-sponse to the request made of him. There were guests from other cities ci-ties as uell as a host from Mt. Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Mrs. Amanda Jeperson of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Oscaiv Christensen of Ephiaim, Mrs. AlmaDalby of La-van, La-van, Mrs. Earl Jackman of Nephi, and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hansen of Ephraim were present at the reception. recep-tion. Alvin Jensen and Miss Myrtle Johnr son, two popular young people of Mt. Pleasant, were married Tuesday evening, March 3. at 5 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Johnson. BL-hop A. Merz officiating in the marriage ceremony. A. nice wedding dinner and reception recep-tion was given by Mrs. Johnson who was asssisted by Miss Ada Jensen, sister of the bridegroom. Onlymem-I Onlymem-I hers of the immediate families were present. Those of the bridegroom's family were his mother, Mrs. A. S. Jensen, his sister Ada and brothers Seymour, Canon and Maurjce. Those of the bride's family we're her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J, Snow, brother-in-law and sister, special spe-cial guests were Mr. and Mrs. Austin Mnnsen, cousins of the groom and Bishop A. Merz. Later in the evening many of their young friends who had been at the ball called upon the young couple wishing them success and happiness through lifes' journey. 0. J. Sorensen of this city and Mrs. C. 0. Anderson, a young widow also of Mt. Pleasant, went to Salt Lake City Wednesday. The cbuple will be married to day and will probably' return re-turn Thui s lay. They tried to keep it a secret and surprise their friends at Mt. Pleasant, but the story was made known before they departed. Their friends are anxiously awaiting their return. |
