Mr. Seely has been a regular ex- hijitor at the State Fair during the :;: pa;t fourteen years, not only with 1 his shorthorn cattle, but also with sheep and swine. His shorthorn cat-: cat-: tie are of a dual breed, that is they are milk and beef producers. On that account they are valuable for the far-:; far-:; mer who wants a breed that will serve for both purposes. Mr. Seely's herd is very large, be-g' be-g' ing the biggest in the Rocky Mountain States ana it is also of superior merit j as his record at the State Fair for the past 14 years will amply prove. His herd bulls are all noted prize winners and decendants from the most popular pop-ular eastern Show Stock (International (Internation-al and Worlds Fair Champions) and the females are first class individuals, many of them would be hard to beat j even in the eastern herds. I When Mr. Seely started to raise the best in livestock he received his first importations from Chas. E. Leonard Leo-nard of Bell Air, Mo. Later importa-; importa-; tions were received from J. D. Bag-i Bag-i by, Independence, Mo., J. W Harding ! Wankeska, Wisconsin, and N. W. i Gentry of Sedalia, Missouri. -J. TOIIX II, SEELY |
