Show ITEMS J. W. Seely of Castledale is visiting visit-ing relatives in Mt. Pleasant. Bishop and Mrs. A. Merz spent Thursday in Manti, doing work in tli o Temple. Wm. J. Seely of Salt Lake City has hewn here visiting with relatives and friends during the past few days. F. 0. Jensen and N. S. Neilson were Salt Lake visitors several days this week. J. L. Pvhead of Salt Lake City was in Mt. Pleasant this week making a survey of a reservoir site in Cedar Creek. Miss Evelyn Buehler of Salt Lake who is a guest of Miss Ida Merz, spent Thursday with relatives in Manti. Alonzo Clark returned to this city Sunday, from Mammoth where he was employed at the depot in the absence ab-sence of Charles Neilson who was celebrating in Mt. Pteasanl. After spending about two weeks in this city, Raphael Jensen returned to Idaho Falls, Idaho where he will look after his live stock for the remainder re-mainder of the season. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen went to Salt Lake City where Mr. Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen has some business to see to. They intend enjoying themselves in the meantime. Wallace Lowry of Price was in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday and Wednesday. While here he purchased a hundred head 6f fine rams of John K. Madsen. The price paid was $16.00 per head. Gertrude Knudsen is a business visitor in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. J. W. Anderson left last Monday Mon-day for Ogden and Salt Lake where she will visit for about two weeks. John Christensen and Miss Helen Olsen were married last Saturday at the Court House in Manti. County Clerk T. J. Morley, Jr., officiating in the ceremony. The young couple wilf make their home in this city. Miss Emma L. Iverson and Miss June Iverson of Salt Lake City, who have been visiting with the Monsen family and their relatives in Mt. Pleasant and Manti returned to their home in the city Thursday afternoon. Dr. J. E. Harrison, one of Salt Lake's prominent opticians, is at the Brown Hotel doing optical work. He will be there until Saturday evening. I Call or phone for information. At vour home by appointment. Mr. Harrison comes highly recommended. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gledhill and laughter, Millie and Mr. and Mrs. Burt Gledhill of Richfield are visiting elatives in Mt. Pleasant. They arc doing work at the Manti Temple and driving to this city at night in an automobile aut-omobile in the evenings. Miss Frances Jensen entertained twelve of her girl friends at her home Wednesday afternoon. A pleasant time was enjoyed in music, singing, etc. Sewing was also a part of the program. The party was given in honor of Miss Roxy Neilson. Dr. B. C. Linebaugh of Moroni was in Mt. Pleasant Wednesday afternoon and informed us that Moroni is preparing pre-paring a big celebration for the Indian In-dian War Veterans in August. Full details will be given in a later issue of the Pyramid. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Broadhurst and family will take a trip through southern south-ern Utah in their .automobile next Saturday and will be absent for a week or more. They expect to spend a few days at Beaver City to attend the Home Coming event. Before returning re-turning they will go to Salt Lake City. |
