Show II ! j Moroni L Ii Funeral services over the remains of Annie Draper Stone, wife of George B. Stone of Oakland California, Califor-nia, was held at the Moroni Tabernacle Taber-nacle May 16th. The Ward Choir furnished the music. The speakers were D.O. Larson and Juluis Chris-ensen. Chris-ensen. She leaves a husband, infant child man friends and relatives to mourn her departure. Born to the wife of I. M. Draper, Dra-per, a daughter, May 18th. Portrait of the Prophet Joseph Smith was given to tne L. D. S. Church last week, by Mrs. Andrew Anderson. It being one of her own hand painting. Mrs. Gen. Bruno and Parley Anderson And-erson of Ogden are visiting at the home of the latter. Susie Burnis of Salt Lake is visiting visit-ing at Freedom. Mrs. Robert Win of Nephi is visiting visit-ing with her parents. Isaacsen of Ephraim was in Moroni Mo-roni Monday and Tuesday. He was looking over the road. Saturday, George B. Stone and his mother returned to their home in Oakland California. May 18th. an election was held at the City Hall. By that election it was decided by a great majority to bond the city for thirteen thousand dollars The vote stood fifty eight for it and two against it. Some thought that amount insufficient |
