Show August Nyberg Receives Final Call at Fairview August Nyberg, who for many years had been a good mechanic and blacksmith, died at Fairview while visiting with his children. Mr. Nyberg was born in Smoland, Sweden, in the year 1835. He became a member of the Later Day Saints Church and came to America with his wife in the year 1862. Upon arriving in Utah . he selected Mt. Pleasant for his home and lived here until recently when he moved to Chester. His wife preceded him to the grave 31 years. Mr. Nyberg is survived by six children, August, Victor, Gilbert, Selma, Emily and Elnora. The body was brought to Mount Pleasant and the funeral services were held at the North Ward on Monday. Bishop H. C. Jacobs presiding. The speakers were Bro. Thomas West, Bishog Allred of Chester, Bro. Wm. Olson, and Bishop H. C. Jacobs. A quartet from Fair-view Fair-view furnished sacred music and Dr. Anderson of Fairview sang a solo. Interment was made in the Mount Pleasant cemetery. |
