Show SPRING CITY Mrs. Robert Blain is visiting with relatives in Geneva this week. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hermansen have teen Gunnison visitors this week. Mrs. John Larsen was called to Salt Lake Saturday on account of the illness of her daughter. Joseph G. Scofield is around on crutches these days on account of a ; broken ancle caused by being kicked I with a horse. Chris Jensen of Co'.ton and Grant Neilson of Helper have been here ' this week to attend the funeral of Marian Neilson. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Aldrich entertained en-tertained at a dinner Sunday for Mrs. v Albert Rosenlof of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Marton Aldrich, Mr. :. and Mrs. Orange Aldrich. and Mrs. ii and Miss. Branden of Mt. Pleasant. Monte Scofield and Miss Myra Madsen, two of Spring City's most popular young people, were married "' in the Manti Temple Wednesday Aug. 26th A very beautiful little wedding reception was given at the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Madsen. Members of the immediate P family were present, and enjoyed a most pleasant time. Marian Nielson died at his mothers home Saturday evening at eight o' iif( clock from what was thought to be cancer of the stomach. Mr. Nielson 1,., Buffered very severely for several n weeks before his death. He was 37 ' years of age and leaves, besides a v... wife and five children, a great many 7; relatives and friends to mourn his I''':, loss. Funeral services were held & in the Tabernacle Tuesday afternoon jj;- at 2 o'clock. J. W. Blain, S. T. Beck, y J. F. Allred, D. W. Larsen and Nels " ., Benson were the speakers. The floral decorations were most generous and beautiful. Enterment was OIi; made in the Spring City Cemetery. |
