Show PrlT PI PARAPH1 liiTP If Hill NQI W IPPIlfP One of tlio most interesting ami successful ward reunions over held in Mount Pleasant was conducted by the North Ward Bishopric Wednesday afternoon. A very timely ami interesting program was diven at the chapel. Short addresses were made by Pres. C. X. Lund and Mrs. II. O.Jacob.-'. Pres. Lund confined his rnnarks principally to the occasion of the reunion and of the benefits that are to be derived de-rived therefrom. Mrs. Jacobs gave a brief history of the ward from the early fifties to the present time and of the I changes of the bishoprics at different times. Other parts of the program consisted of musical numbers and solos. The good ladies of the ward prepared a special luncheon at the Assembly Hall for the occasion. Following the luncheon an number of games and amusements amuse-ments were given on the church lawn for the benefit of the children. They were so well pleased with the amusements that even the old folks took an active part in the sports. The day was ended with a dance at the Armory Hall. |
