Show Grand Celebration For 4tliof July Mount Pleasant will celebrate Independance Dav this year in a manner that will excel all other celebration of the kind in this city. The greatest feature of the day's program will be a grand parade at 10 o'clock in the morning of July 4th, in which every organization in the city will take part. It is to be the grandest parade ever seen in Mount Pleasant. The business houses, business clubs, ladies clubs, lodges, churches and eneterprising citizens will all take part in making this the greatest day in the history of the city. The general committee has arranged to have a Godess of Liberty, Uncle Sam in his dignity and every feature that make the parade complete. com-plete. Immediately after the parade will be held a meeting in Assembly Hall and an excellent program will be carried out. Children's sports will be conducted on the church square at 1:30 o'clock after which a dance will be given for the little folks. There will also be a ball game at the City Park. Eatinger, Chairman, S. D. Longsdorf, Margaret Reynolds, Lauritz Larsen, Hilda .Madsen, Viola Whittaker, Peter II. Madscn, Mrs. H. S. Nielsen and,Theo C. Candland. Committee on Program: A. Merz, chairman; Mrs. Harry Ericksen, John Meeker, and Miss Winnifred Jensen. Committee on Salutes: L. P. Nelson, chairman; Lauritz Larsen and S. D. Longsdorf. Committee on Sports: J. W. Annand, chairman; Wm. Hansen, A. L. Stout, J. C. Stocks and W. B. Hicks. Committee on Decoration: C. D. Strang, chairman; Arthur Nielson, Victor Peterson, Florence Monsen, Ettie Rolph and Christie V.
