Show DEATHS V C. 0. ANDERSON MEETS SUDDEN DEATH Brother Christian O. Anderson, one of Mount Pleasant's former residents, res-idents, but for a number of years of St. Anthony, Idaho, who was employed em-ployed in a large mill ac that place, met with an accident last Thursday morning . that resulted in instant death. While oiling the grain elevator eleva-tor his clothes caught: on a set-screw on one of the large shaftings near the top of the elevator, and he was hurled to death instantly. His comrades com-rades did not know of the accident until it was time for luncheon when the bell was sounded for Anderson to' appear. No response came and a search was made. Anderson's body was found near the top of the building, build-ing, about ninety feet from the j ground floor. Mr. Anderson was thirty years old and the youngest son of Mads Anderson. He was married to Miss Dena Ney, daughter of Mrs. M. N. S. Ney, of this city. John D. Anderson of Logan, brother broth-er of the unfortunate man, went to St. Anthony and met the bereaved wife, who together brought the body to Mount Pleasant for burial. The funeral services were held at the South Ward Chapel on Tuesday at 11 o'clock. Sacred music was rendered by the choir, Sister Marian ,Larsen sang the solo, "Just Beyond the Vale of Years" and Bro. A. Merz and Pres. C. N. Lund spoke with endearing terms of the good character charac-ter of this young man rich in deed and spirit. Mr. Anderson leaves a wife, one child and a host of relatives, and friends to mourn his loss. ' ; J ! i jMiss Crystal Rosenlof, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olof Rosenlof, Ros-enlof, died at her home last Tuesday. She has suffered for several years from heart trouble, being bedfast for about six-weeksj 'and at last pneumonia set in and; death claimed its own. Cr stal was in her 16th year and had made many friends among the young people in Mount Pleasant. Her father and mother were among the first who came to Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant in early days and have made this their home ever since. Crystal was preceded to the grave by her mother about seven years ago. Funeral services will be held today at 2 o'clock in the North Ward Meeting House. Geo. Christian Christensen, little one-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian S. Christensen, died on Wednesday the 15th. Little George was apparently well and happy the day before, havingtieen playing with the other children that very evening. Pneumonia set in and claimed the little fellow at about two o'clock on Wednesday. ' ' Funeral services will beheld today at 2 o'clock at the South Ward Chapel. |
