You will wonder, no doubt, why I deserted the speaking stage. To be candid with you I was tired, having worked constantly for ever six years without a vacation, and at that time motion pictures had secured a wonderful won-derful hold on the amusement loving lov-ing public, and a very tempting offer was made me to join forces with the diem drama. Cut aiter a yor and a half of experience with the phoio-trt. phoio-trt. the old love and desire of the speaking stage came back to me. This became so strong within me. that I decided to return to you. my friends, and I heve selected with a great deal of care and thought, a repertoire rep-ertoire of plays that I am sure will please.
